Tanzania Health Records and Information Association (THERIA) is an association aiming to support health information Management and improving health records activities in Tanzania.
THERIA has organized three (3) days training course on Electronic Health Records (EHR) in Healthcare Services delivery, for all Healthcare workers, and other related who mostly dealing with Healthcare services provision
In order to improve working standards and Quality of health care data at your setting, THERIA is inviting all Interested individuals to attend the mentioned course as elaborated hereunder:
Course contents:
1. Introduction to Electronic Health Records
2. Key benefits of EHR in Healthcare services
3. Improving Healthcare services by EHR
4. Information Security in EHR
5. Legal issues in EHR
6.Challenges in implementing and maintaining EHR and solutions in Health care setting
Expected learning outcomes should be to; Understanding the structural components of EHR systems ,Identify a need based EHR software, Use of EHR software for electronic data management,Implement EHR systems,Understanding the legal issues in EHR systems,Understanding information security in HER and to Identify challenges facing EHR Systems and solutions thereof:
Target group: All Health records and information Personnel, Clinicians, Pharmacists, Laboratory Technologists, IT officers, Physiotherapist, Research Scholars, and any other interested individuals.
Venue and date: The course will be conducted at Tandabui Institute of Health Sciences and Technology (TIHEST)from 25/10/2023 to 27/10/2023 (3 days).
Costs: TSH 350,000 per participant, this covers training fees, materials and Mid-morning breakfast.
