Membership and Privileges
Health Records and information professional shall be eligible for membership of the association and shall subject to the approval of the committee become a member on payment of the entrance fee of tshs 10,000.
A Member shall be required to a monthly contribution of tshs 5000 per month or may pay accumulatively per year.
There are four class of members
Ordinary Member
Membership in this category shall be open to qualified Health Records and Information
professional from Institutions recognized by THERIA.
A member shall be required to pay an application fee and an annual or monthly
Subscription fee to be prescribed by the Association from time to time.
All members shall be recommended by respective branches before being vetted and Accepted by the national office.
Member shall Attend the General Assembly and he or she is eligible to vote on each
Resolution and hold elected office.
Associate Membership
Membership in this category shall be open to Health Records and Information
Technician students and Institutions within and outside Tanzania. Conditions for such
Membership shall be determined by the Executive Committee and subject to confirmation
by the Council.
Honorary Membership
Awarded to any individual who has made significant contribution to THERIA as decided by Annual general Meeting.
Membership in this category is not subjected to payment of membership fees, and he/she shall not have right to votes or to hold any position of Executive e.g. chairman, General secretary.
Affiliated Membership
Open to any individual or organisation that is interested in the purpose of THERIA
